Team Viewer is our solution for easy and friendly desktop sharing. You can remote control a partner's desktop to give online assistance, or you can show your screen to a customer-all without worrying about firewalls, IP addresses and NAT .
Description of Team Viewer

The software operates with the Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, iOS, and Android. It is possible to access a machine running Team Viewer with a web browser. While the main focus of the application is remote control of computers, collaboration and presentation features are included. Team Viewer GmbH was founded in 2005 in Uhingen, Germany.

With Team Viewer, you can establish a connection to any computer via the Internet and control it remotely or simply present your own desktop - all without worrying about firewalls, IP addresses or NAT.

Team Viewer allows a VPN (Virtual Private Network) connection to be established between client and server. Team Viewer uses a full encryption. Team Viewer GmbH was founded in 2005 in Uhingen, Germany. A fast start and a rapid growth have led to several million installations of the Team Viewer software and to users in more than 200 countries around the globe within a short span of time. The software is available in more than 30 languages.

Team Viewer is used a million times around the world for giving spontaneous support over the internet or for accessing unattended computers (e.g. remote support for servers). Depending on the configuration of Team Viewer this means that the remote computer can be controlled as if you were sitting right in front of it. Is the user who is logged on to a remote computer a Windows, Mac or Linux administrator, he/she will be granted administrator rights on that computer as well.

This software is available with three different types of license:

1. Proprietary

2. Free

3. Private

At the present moment Team Viewer is in use on more than 100,000,000 computers. International top corporations from all kinds of industries (including such highly sensitive sectors as banks and other financial institutions) are successfully using Team Viewer

Encryption and Authentication

Team Viewer works with a complete encryption based on RSA public/private key exchange and AES (256 Bit) session encoding. As the private key never leaves the client computer, it is ensured by this procedure that interconnected computers - including the Team Viewer routing servers - cannot decipher the data stream.
